Career Coaching
Helping early-career professionals and career changers break into international development and/or learning & development. Through a structured coaching approach, I provide guidance on career clarity, CV refinement, networking, job applications, and interview preparation.
Find your path. Secure your role. Make an impact.
—with an Agile mindset.
Breaking into international development can be challenging—whether you're an early-career professional or making a career change. Success requires more than just submitting applications; it demands clarity, strategy, adaptability, and continuous improvement.
Through Sprint to Impact’s structured, Agile-inspired career coaching, you’ll gain the direction, skills, and confidence to navigate the job market with a mindset of iteration, feedback, and growth.
This programme consists of five one-hour coaching sessions, following an iterative approach that adapts to your progress. To maximise results, you’ll be expected to complete prep work before each session, ensuring we focus on real-time feedback and continuous improvement.
How it works
Every journey starts with a free 20-minute consultation to assess your needs and ensure we're the right fit. If we move forward, we’ll follow a structured, personalised five-session coaching framework tailored to your career goals.
1. Career clarity and defining your path
We will work together to define your professional direction by identifying your strengths, values, and non-negotiables. If you're unsure about your next steps, we’ll use the Ikigai framework to align your interests with career opportunities.
Output: A clear career vision with defined goals, target roles, and a strategy for moving forward.
2. CV and LinkedIn optimisation
We will refine your CV and LinkedIn profile to ensure they effectively highlight your experience, skills, and potential. You'll learn how to tailor your CV for different roles and ensure it is ATS-friendly.
Output: A polished CV and optimised LinkedIn profile that attract the right opportunities.
3. Strategic networking and identifying key contacts
We will develop a targeted networking strategy, helping you connect with professionals and mentors in your field. You'll learn how to approach key contacts, engage meaningfully, and position yourself within the sector.
Output: A personalised networking plan, including a list of key individuals to reach out to and scripts for outreach messages.
4. Targeting organisations and job applications
We will research and identify organisations that align with your goals and develop tailored applications that stand out. You’ll learn how to craft strong cover letters and refine your CV for specific opportunities.
Output: A list of target organisations, tailored job application materials, and a job search strategy.
5. Interview preparation and job offer negotiation
We will work together to prepare for interviews, craft compelling responses, and develop strategies to showcase your expertise. We’ll also cover job offer evaluation and salary negotiation.
Output: A set of strong interview answers, improved confidence, and a strategy for negotiating job offers.
Final step: launching your job search with confidence
By the end of the programme, you’ll have a clear career direction, a strong CV, a tailored job search strategy, and the confidence to network and interview effectively. You'll be equipped with the skills and resources to continue your job search independently, making informed career decisions along the way.
We equip you with a flexible strategy so you can continue adapting and improving beyond the coaching programme.
Output: A fully prepared job search toolkit, a confident approach to applications and interviews, and a clear action plan for securing your next role.
